Starting grid assignment
In order to launch Rad am Ring well, we have to send the individual disciplines on track according to a schedule. On your way to the starting blocks you will be divided into 3 driveways: 1 = Public races, 2 = 24h-Roadbike race, 3 = MTB. The zone designation is located on the helmet number/saddle number. Please follow the instructions of the marshalls. You can find the exact starting set-up and the starting block division in the following table.
Starting grid assignment- public race
The first starting blocks (A and C – see above) will be set up according to the regulations of the German Cycling Cup. In addition, the first 50 riders of the respective race (75 or 150 km) in the previous year are qualified. We hope you understand that we cannot make any further special arrangements with respect to the starting block set-up.
Entry into the starting blocks
The entry into the starting blocks is via the posts next to the Mundorf petrol station (TUV-Tower). From there you reach the track before the final bend. Ride through it and then take your place in the marked block. There will not be a direct entry via the pit lane.
The net time will be taken in all starting blocks. In the 75 and 150 km races, the first 50 men/15 women will be judged according to their finishing positions, the participants thereafter will be judged according to the net riding time according to the transponder.
