Entering the paddock / leaving on Sunday

Right of way according to plan

 

 

Getting 5,000 participants to the paddock, to their pits and camping lots in a short time is not easy. That's why there's a detailed plan. 24-hour riders can leave on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.

 

Schedule

A time window from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and two independent entry zones will be available for entering the paddock on Friday.

On Saturday, a time window from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. will be available in both entry zones for those arriving late.

Traffic management system

A traffic management system with mobile displays will be set up on a large scale around the entry zones.

Driveways

There will be two access routes. One via the Müllenbachschleife (FSZ II), the other via the so-called Hatzenbach tunnel. The plots are divided into color zones on the entry plan. This color will appear on the ticket, which you will receive by post before the event. Please refer to the entry plan which can be downloaded as a PDF and allows for very detailed views via the zoom function and to the traffic management system.

Attention with large vehicles: The passage height in the Hatzenbach tunnel is limited to 3.60 m. In addition, access to the paddock is restricted for heavy vehicles. Vehicles larger than 3.60 m of height and with a gross vehicle weight over 7.5 tons which plan to enter via this access route, must contact us in advance by This email address is being protected from spambots. Zone blue/green

The colors blue and green enter car park C6. There will be a backlog zone from around 2 p.m. Starting from 4 p.m. the lots can be driven in. Blue faces the Mercedes Arena against the direction of the race track. The "front lots" are light blue in the Mercedes Arena area and on the home stretch (C).

The green sector follows the same philosophy in the direction of travel with light and dark green. There will be signposts at the respective junctions.

Zone red/yellow

The backlog zone is located in car park D next to the district road. All participants enter via the Hatzenbach tunnel and will be directed by our volunteers to the respective areas according to their colors.

Entry and exit during the event

Access via Stefan-Bellof-Straße and Hatzenbach tunnel will be open throughout the event. However, not every lot will be accessible due to the track layout (see site plan). If you want to commute to and from the Nürburgring, it is better to park your car outside. The access roads to the GP paddock via the Historic Paddock and Stefan-Bellof-Straße are also open during the event. However, only parts of the lots in the GP paddock and none of the lots along the track will be accessible. All 24-hour participants can leave on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
