Time measurement and transponders

The time measurement will be implemented by means of active transponders. These transponders are not for sale and have to be hired! The transponders will be handed out at the participant centre for a deposit of 40.00 €. When the transponders are returned to the participant centre during the opening times, the deposit of 40.00 € will be returned. For the 24 h race, Velcro bands will be handed out with which the transponders are to be attached to the active riders' calves.

Transponder fixture

Each participant (and each team) will be handed out a Velcro band in order to fix the transponder to an ankle. The participants have to take over responsibility if they wish to fix the transponder any other way. If a transponder does not give off the time-taking impulse due to an unconventional fixture technique, the team (or rider) might lose the lap.

Monitoring technology

Aside from monitoring by marshals and organisers the track will be monitored by surveillance loops in several places. If transponder impulses are not registered at certain surveillance loops, the team (rider) will lose the lap.

Protest against the result

Protests against the results are accepted in written form to the organizer within 8 days after the race. After that date, no protests will be accepted.

Any changes to the result will be published within 14 days after the event.
