In general, all cyclists of the age groups determined by the regulations are permitted to participate. The following requirements have to be met:
Participants are required to check their physical fitness themselves prior to the event. When in doubt, they should consult a doctor.
To register a minor athlete, the approval of a parent or guardian is required. The debit account for the participation fees has to be the account of the parent or guardian. Giving this information counts as an approval to the registration of the minor. When multiple applications (eg ucoaches running group registrations) are made the approval of all guardians to the registration has to be collected by the coach or person that is registering the minor athletes. Participants under the age of 18 are not permitted to start in the 24h race.
Athletes participate in the event at their own risk! The liability of the organiser's is restricted to intent and gross negligence, also toward third parties. The organiser's are not liable for damage other than damage to life or health, as long as it has not occurred due to intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty on the part of the organiser, the legal representative or the assistants. The organiser is not liable for the loss of equipment or clothing of the participants. Therefore participants must take over the responsibility or make sure they are insured. By receiving the starting number, the participants bindingly declare that there are no physical constraints which impede them from taking part in the race. Directions of the organisational staff must be observed at all times.
Participants accept that the data provided for the registration is stored electronically and that the participant lists and the result lists may be published, e.g. online. The photographs, videos and suchlike, as well as interviews for radio, television, advertising or print purposes which have been produced in connection with the participation at the event may be used by the organiser without financial claims on behalf of the participants and without temporal or spatial restrictions.
Despite the closed race track, participants have to be aware of spectators or other participants that are running or driving around.
Especially in the Grand Prix circuit special awareness is required.
The transition at the 24h- race creates additional risks. Unexpected changes of direction by participants and unexpected braking along the course are just two examples.
Each participant is required to know the exact route of the race. This is particularly important for the Grand Prix circuit. In the passages where tracks will separate or be brought together again, is to take appropriate care.
If a participant will ride at night for the first time (24-hour race), he must had looked at the course at least once during daylight to remember any hazard zones.
Information that is added during the riders meeting in the morning counts is obligatory.
Deer passing cannot entirely be excluded on the race track.
